ANDY SEUSS

When it comes to describing Andy Seuss’ accomplishments in racing, there are two correct answers.

Behind the steering wheel, he is a proven champion. Outside the car, he is a builder and leader. Most of all though, he is highly respected by industry insiders, teammates and fans.

Seuss, a native of Hampstead, New Hampshire, got started in racing as a teen running kart events at Sugar Hill Speedway (NH). From there, he raced Late Models and Small Block Supermodifieds before getting involved in Modified racing. In that very competitive form of motorsports, Seuss hit his stride.  He earned the 2005 Modified Championship in the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway (FL) as well as the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championships.

In the ARCA Racing Series, Seuss outperformed his underdog status with a best finish of second at Talladega Superspeedway (AL) right on the tail of current NASCAR Cup Series driver Justin Haley in 2017. Seuss also competed in the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series event at his hometrack of New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the #51 team of Rick Ware Racing.

As a driver, Seuss was always very attentive when it came to learning car set-ups and engineering. As a low budget racer, Seuss learned how to stretch a dollar yet still field a competitive racecar. These skills translated well when it came to building a resume out of the driver’s seat.

Seuss was instrumental in getting the start-up Our Motorsports team onto the track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the 2020 season. He then returned to the Cup Series team of Rick Ware Racing later that season as a team member. His next stop was with the NASCAR Cup team of Trackhouse Racing in their inaugural season of 2021.  Next came a stint as the car chief for the #16 Kaulig Racing NASCAR Cup Series entry shared by A.J. Allmendinger, Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric for the 2022 season.

Those experiences lead Seuss to his biggest project yet as the managing partner for the KLAS Motorsports ARCA Racing Series team along with entrepreneur Kevin LaPierre. The team fields the #73 Whelen entry for short track ace Andy Jankowiak with an eye towards expansion in the future. Seuss also plans a limited schedule of Modified events as a driver when time allows.

Seuss currently resides with his wife Jenn and two children in North Carolina.
